In anticipation for the episode premier of today’s Sailor Moon Crystal, our Featured Artist of the day is Jackie Huang! Huang is a freelance artist, with an uncanny ability to sculpt beautiful pieces out of paper.
Each Sailor Senshi is handcrafted to bring the magical enchantment of 
Sailor Moon to life in beautiful wall art. These individual pieces showcase Rei, the spunky guardian of fire Sailor Mars, the effervescent Minako (or Mina), Sailor Venus, ass kicking (and my favorite!) black belt Makoto (or Lita), Sailor Jupiter, our favorite (and sometimes neglected) bookworm Ami Sailor Mercury, and our favorite talking cat, Luna! These beauties are available for purchase at Huang’s Etsy Shop.

“I did these pieces because I was invited to a Sailor Moon tribute show in Anaheim, CA back in July. I tried to do something different with these pieces than my usual work. I incorporated watercolor
paints as well as worked in all white.”
